Since I review fandoms for a living, I also sell fandom merch, with artwork designed by me! A lot of you people might be questioning me, “why bother running a store?” And let me answer to you:

Well, selling art online makes me happy and is a good way to make income in my opinion! And I love fanart specifically! The best part about ACGGoods is that you can sell fanart without getting assaulted by the copyright police! It’s just fantastic! And another benefit is that unlike many selling websites, ACGGoods rely on man-made artwork instead of AI! Because AI sucks ass! Fuck that stupid Fruit Love Island bullshit I often see on the internet!

So how ACGGoods works is that you have to apply to own a store, kind of like McDonald’s. But the best part is unlike McDonald’s, you don’t have to go to an anxiety-riddled interview with an intimidating manager looming above you. ACGGoods will send you an email that shows the special code after you apply, which takes about 24ish hours.

After you get the code, you’re able to run a store! You also have to connect your WooAcry account to your ACGGoods store. And WooAcry is a lot like Redbubble, but instead of shirts and mugs, you actually can sell a variety of merch you would often find at a convention! It is so fucking cool! You can design products such as stickers by inserting files, and it is so easy! For example, when customizing a keychain, you have a dieline and get a custom clasp! There are a wide variety of clasp shapes and colors, with my favorite being the heart!

I’m in 2 days away with running my store and I still got no sales, and by the time I’m typing this I only have 3 followers. But all in all, I’m super happy with ACGGoods because unlike Etsy, where you have to pay like a college salary of hideous fees, ACGGoods handles all the stuff for you and you don’t have to worry about delivering, which is always a plus!

And I love how there is a supporting artist community on ACGGoods! There are so many wonderful people on the ACGGoods’ Discord server, and they are very helpful whenever you get stuck with your store and running it!

However, one negative aspect I have with ACGGoods is that it has extremely low SEO, which makes it harder for your store to be seen and have to rely on a lot of annoying advertising on social media! Darn! But luckily, advertising is not as hard as it seems.

But overall, ACGGoods is such a great website for many reasons, one being that you can sell artwork without relying on paying shipping fees! I will post my shop link underneath this text!
